Lot 930: An Assortment of Vintage Textiles Including Woollen Blankets Fabric Remnants and a Cushion
A collection of vintage textiles comprising blankets, various fabric remnants, and a cushion. The lot features two woollen travel rugs or blankets, the first with a large-scale check pattern in pastel shades of pink, light blue, and cream, and the second partially visible in a traditional plaid design of green, pink, and yellow.
The fabric remnants include several distinct patterns characteristic of mid-20th-century design. There is a dense floral print featuring small pink and white flowers with green leaves on a pale ground, a bold multi-coloured stylized floral and paisley print on a white ground, and a fabric with blue and green floral clusters on a cream base. Also included is a folded section of red, white, and blue checked cotton fabric, and an intricate green and white patterned fabric. This piece has a white paper label attached with the handwritten letters PAR in black ink.
Completing the collection is a large rectangular cushion upholstered in a tan or beige suedette material.
