Lot 966: An Assortment of Clear Glassware Including Dartington Crystal Vases and a Large Martini-Form Vessel
This lot features an assortment of clear glassware, including pieces by Dartington Crystal, United Kingdom. The collection includes a group of slender bud vases, consisting of one tall vase and several shorter examples, each designed with a flared rim, a long tapering neck, and a circular base. One vase retains a blue label identifying it as Dartington Crystal, handmade in the United Kingdom. Also included is a large decorative centrepiece vessel in the form of a martini glass, featuring a wide conical bowl set upon a tall slender stem and a circular foot. The lot is completed by two clear pressed-glass bowls of differing sizes, both featuring a scalloped petal rim and a relief-moulded radial floral pattern to the underside, which provides a textured exterior and a smooth interior. White paper inventory labels with the handwritten numbers 966 and 13 are present on several pieces.
