Lot 981: An Early 20th Century Jacobean Revival Carved Oak Side Table
This side table is constructed from solid oak in the Jacobean revival style, dating to the early 20th century. The rectangular top features a moulded perimeter edge and sits above a frieze decorated with relief-carved lunette and floral geometric motifs. The table is supported by four barley-twist turned legs, which are joined by low-level rectangular stretchers. The front-facing stretcher is detailed with a decorative notched or beaded moulding. Two adhesive auction lot labels are present on the top surface, numbered 186 and 981.
