Lot 989: A Trio of Mobelfabrikken Toften Danish Teak and Tile-Topped Nesting Tables
A trio of Danish teak nesting tables by Mobelfabrikken Toften, dating from the late 20th century. Each table features a rectangular top with an inset ceramic tile surface. The largest table is decorated with a central motif depicting a bird perched on a branch, enclosed within an intricate foliate border executed in earth-toned glazes. The two smaller tables feature matching foliate-patterned border tiles. The frames are constructed from teak with mitred corners and are supported by straight, square-section legs. A white rectangular auction label is adhered to the top table, transcribed as Lot 989.
