Lot 1072: An Edwardian Glazed Oak Two Door Bookcase Top
An early 20th century Edwardian glazed oak cabinet section, being the upper part of a two-piece library bookcase or display cabinet. The piece is constructed from oak finished with a dark stain. It features twin glazed doors, each containing twenty leaded rectangular glass panes. The interior is fitted with two wooden shelves. Hardware includes a central brass latch and escutcheon on the meeting stiles. The lower front corners are decorated with turned wooden drop-finials.
