Lot 21: A Vintage Kirby Handi-Butler Vacuum Cleaner Accessory Set
A collection of vintage Kirby vacuum cleaner attachments from the Handi-Butler accessory kit. The set includes a blue plastic power drive unit featuring a metal lever and a flexible power extension shaft with a knurled metal chuck. The accompanying accessory box contains various wheels and discs, including a stitched buffing wheel intended for use with a polishing stick and a flannel buffing wheel. Also included is an assortment of black rubber sanding or backing discs of various sizes. The items are housed in their original printed cardboard packaging inserts which provide instructional text and cautionary warnings regarding the high speeds of the power extension shaft. The blue power unit is designed to interface with the main Kirby vacuum unit to provide power for sanding, polishing, and buffing tasks.
