Lot 50: A Vintage Britool Socket Set in Metal Case
A vintage Britool socket set comprising professional-grade chrome vanadium steel tools housed in a blue-painted pressed steel carrying case with a moulded plastic internal organiser tray. The maker’s name is clearly embossed on the centre of the case lid and the right side of the internal tray. The set includes a speed brace with a knurled grip, a ratchet handle stamped with the maker’s name and Made in England, a long extension bar, a universal joint, and a 13/16 AF spark plug socket. The collection includes approximately 15 bi-hex sockets in various Imperial AF sizes. The internal plastic tray contains five vacant moulded slots, indicating missing components from the original set.
