Lot 115: A Collection of Vintage Hand Tools including a Garringtons Spanner
An assortment of vintage workshop hand tools, primarily of steel and wood construction. The collection includes a large heavy-duty open-ended steel spanner with the embossed maker mark GARRINGTONS on the handle. The lot features several percussion tools, including a steel lump hammer with a wooden handle, a rubber mallet, and a large hand-carved wooden mallet or commander head. Also included are three steel files with turned wooden handles, a combination square or spirit level head containing a visible glass vial, and a wide flat metal bolster or scraper tool. The items are stored in a repurposed cardboard produce tray. The metal components are of forged steel construction.
