Lot 181: A BOC Saffire 3 Oxy-Acetylene Gas Welding and Cutting Torch Kit in Metal Case
A BOC Saffire 3 industrial oxy-acetylene gas welding and cutting kit. The kit includes a BOC Saffire 3 shank with a black ribbed grip and twin control valves, alongside a Saffire 3 cutting attachment constructed with three stainless steel tubes and a lever-operated oxygen blast. The cutting head is fitted with a copper-coned nozzle. Additional components within the set include a welding and brazing mixer attachment, a flat multi-head spanner, and an assortment of small brass fittings. The items are contained in a rectangular, yellow-painted sheet steel toolbox with a hinged lid. A red identification label on the cutting attachment is marked with the BOC logo and the text Saffire 3, Oxygen, and Fuel Gas. The main handle features a circular logo plate with worn markings.
