Lot 233: Johnson Sea-Horse Outboard Boat Motor
A vintage Johnson Sea-Horse marine outboard boat motor, likely dating from the mid-1970s. This portable, two-stroke unit is equipped with an integral top-mounted fuel tank and a tiller steering handle featuring a twist-grip throttle. The exterior cowling is finished in a white and grey colour scheme with red and black graphic detailing, displaying the Johnson brand name and the Sea-Horse logo. The lower unit comprises a grey painted metal midsection and a gearbox housing a three-blade propeller. The transom mounting bracket includes a manual tilt lever and dual screw-clamp fasteners. The cowling is marked with handwritten black marker notations detailing choke and fuel settings. A small metal identification plate is riveted to the port side of the transom bracket.
