Lot 240: A Pair of Large Glazed Ceramic Garden Planters
This lot comprises two circular ceramic planters of significant size designed for outdoor garden use. One planter features a buff-coloured glaze with a broad, rounded rim. The second planter is finished in a vibrant turquoise-blue glaze, also featuring a thick, rounded rim and a slightly tapering form. Both items are made from heavyweight ceramic material. No maker’s marks or factory backstamps are visible on the bodies or rims of the planters. A white auction lot sticker is present on the rim of the buff-coloured planter, which reads Lot 240.
