Lot 736: A Collection of Royal Albert Old Country Roses Bone China Tea Ware and Sundry Decorative Items
A collection of Royal Albert bone china tea service items in the Old Country Roses pattern. The pieces feature transfer-printed floral designs of deep red, pink, and yellow roses with green foliage, finished with scalloped and hand-applied gold-gilt rims. The assortment includes several teacups and saucers, along with a lidded sugar bowl. The bases of the teacups are marked with the Royal Albert Old Country Roses backstamp and are designated as bone china made in England. The lot further includes a small white waisted souvenir vase featuring two birds on a branch and the inscription A gift from Looe. Also present are two small porcelain figurines: a boy in traditional Bavarian-style attire playing an accordion and a standing female figure in a white dress decorated with gold stars. A small circular copper or brass vessel completes the lot.
