Lot 255: Three Weathered Terra Cotta Garden Wares
A group of three traditional unglazed terra cotta garden items. The lot consists of one large cylindrical planter pot with a slightly flared rim, one medium cylindrical planter pot of matching form, and one shallow circular saucer or bowl featuring concentric moulded rings to the base and interior. The pieces are constructed from unglazed orange clay. A small white rectangular adhesive label is attached to the rim of the larger planter, printed with the inventory numerals 255. No impressed maker’s marks, factory stamps, or signatures are visible on the exterior surfaces or bases.
