Lot 286: A Classical Style Reconstituted Stone Curved Garden Bench
A garden bench of curved form constructed from weathered reconstituted stone. The bench comprises a curved seat slab with a moulded herringbone pattern to the outer edge, supported by two solid pedestals. These pedestals are modelled as winged lion monopodia, or griffins, with stylized manes and paws. The construction is in three separate sections. There are no visible manufacturer marks or signatures. Two temporary paper auction labels are adhered to the seat surface. Based on visual comparison with surrounding objects, the bench is of standard domestic proportions.
