Lot 289: A Traditional Wood and Galvanised Metal Freestanding Bird Table
A freestanding bird table of traditional design, constructed from wood and galvanised metal. The upper feeder section consists of a deep square wooden seed tray supported by four corner uprights, topped with a pyramidal roof. The roof is clad in four galvanised sheet metal panels secured with screws and is finished with white-painted ridge trim and a turned wooden finial. The structure is supported by a textured, hammered-effect galvanised metal pole. This pole is mounted into a square galvanised steel ground base, which features a central socket and four pre-drilled corner holes for anchoring to a hard surface.
