Lot 357: A Comitti of London Twin-Dial Desk Weather Station and an Assortment of Miscellaneous Household Electronics
A Comitti of London desk-top weather station featuring an aneroid barometer and a clock. The rectangular wooden plinth is crafted from mahogany-stained hardwood and features an inlaid boxwood stringing border. The white clock dial displays black Roman numerals and three hands. The white barometer dial is graduated in inches of mercury and includes standard weather descriptors: Stormy, Rain, Change, Fair, and Very Dry, with a central aperture revealing the internal movement. Both instruments are set within polished brass-coloured bezels. The barometer dial is marked Comitti of London. This lot also includes an assortment of miscellaneous household and automotive items comprising a Geemarc Amplidect Combi 295 amplified telephone base and handset, a boxed Nextbase dash cam hardwire kit, a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS28 digital camera box, a Yiyun Tech Li-ion battery charger (model YC62/36V), a boxed Reptile UVB 100 compact bulb, a cylindrical metal mesh filter element, and a quantity of red-handled electrical clips.
