Lot 836: A Jacobean Revival Carved Oak Glazed Display Cabinet
A small one-piece oak display cabinet or bookcase designed in the Jacobean Revival style. The piece features a decorative carved frieze along the top edge with repeating lunette and floral motifs. Below the frieze, two doors are inset with leaded glass panels in a repeating hexagonal honeycomb pattern, opening to reveal an interior with two fixed wooden shelves providing three levels of storage. The cabinet is constructed from oak with a medium brown finish and is fitted with four dark-finished metal butterfly hinges and a matching central latch. The piece stands on a simple plinth base.
