The head is fitted with robotic-style headgear including a translucent green eye that illuminates when the electronics are activated. A large integrated handle on the back includes a red trigger mechanism that operates the manual jaw-chomping action. The interior of the mouth shows cream-coloured teeth and a large red tongue. The dinosaur is designed with oversized, blocky feet with claws painted in grey.
