Lot 870: Bentwood Coat and Hat Stand
A bentwood coat and hat stand constructed from dark-stained hardwood. The stand features a central turned column surmounted by a turned finial and a crown of scrolling bentwood hooks supported by a central circular ring. The hooks are secured to the column with Philips-head screws. The piece is raised on a splayed tripod base consisting of three curved legs. No maker’s marks, stamps, or labels are visible on the object.
