Lot 403: A Goodmans Boogie Box Portable Dual Cassette Stereo System with Detached Speakers
A vintage Goodmans Boogie Box portable stereo system, comprising a central unit and two matching detached speakers. The main unit features a dual cassette deck design with functions for high-speed dubbing and continuous playback. It includes an integrated horizontal analog radio tuning scale for FM and MW bands. The front control panel is equipped with knobs for main volume, balance, function selection, and echo, alongside two 1/4 inch microphone inputs with individual volume controls. The cabinets are constructed from black moulded plastic with metal and fabric speaker grilles. The central grille features the words Boogie Box handwritten in silver-toned marker. The unit retains its red Goodmans manufacturer label.
