Lot 891: 19th Century Mahogany Two-Drawer Side Table
A 19th-century mahogany side table or small writing table. The piece features a solid mahogany top with a moulded edge over a frieze housing two drawers. The drawers are fitted with brass drop handles set on shaped backplates. The whole is raised on four ring-turned and tapered legs. A decorative scrolled bracket is present at the junction of the front right leg and frieze. Two temporary adhesive paper labels are present: one on the top left corner marked with the number 32 and one on the frieze below the right drawer marked with the number 13.
