Lot 912: George III Style Mahogany Fold-Over Card or Tea Table
A George III style mahogany fold-over table, designed for use as a card or tea table. The rectangular top is finished with figured mahogany veneer and features a central seam to facilitate folding. The frieze is decorated with boxwood or satinwood stringing and decorative rectangular panels. The piece is supported by four square tapered legs, each embellished with matching stringing and inset contrasting wood panels. The legs are fitted with brass cup castors. No maker marks, labels, or signatures are visible.
