Lot 444: A Trio of Vintage Glass Carboys and Storage Vessels
A trio of mid-20th century utilitarian glass storage vessels of varying form and size. The largest example is a pale green tinted glass carboy or demijohn of ovoid form, featuring twin integral ring handles at the neck and a heavy applied glass ring at the mouth. A second large carboy is constructed from clear flint glass with an ovoid body and a single integral glass loop handle at the shoulder. The collection is completed by a smaller cylindrical storage jar in clear flint glass with twin ring handles and a red-painted cork stopper. All pieces exhibit mould-blown construction. One vessel retains a paper auction label from MCP Auctions South West.
