Lot 920: Late Victorian Mahogany Sutherland Drop-Leaf Table
A late Victorian or early Edwardian mahogany Sutherland drop-leaf table. The table comprises a narrow rectangular central top section flanked by two deep drop-leaves with rounded corners. The base is of gate-leg construction, featuring twin spindle-turned end supports connected by a central stretcher rail. Two matching spindle-turned legs are hinged to swing out and support the leaves when fully extended. The piece is constructed from mahogany.
