Lot 922: An Assortment of Vintage Decorative Ceramics and a Miniature Cast Iron Kitchen Range
This group lot comprises various decorative items and miniature collectibles. Included is a detailed miniature kitchen range constructed from cast iron, featuring circular burner plates and a raised backplate. The ceramic items include a large stylized earthenware vessel in the form of a cow, featuring hand-painted black, brown, and blue decoration on a cream-coloured ground. The collection also contains a miniature cottage-form ornament decorated with yellow, green, and brown glazes; a stoneware pitcher with a deep blue glaze and an applied miniature figure wearing a red jacket; a standard-form teapot with a mottled brown Rockingham-style glaze; and a small seated dog figurine with a mottled brown and cream granite-style glaze. Additionally, there is a rectangular ceramic ornament shaped like a closed book, bearing the hand-painted cursive inscription The Dear Old Home. The lot also includes various ceramic fragments and other small figures.
