Lot 925: A Late Victorian/Edwardian Carved Oak Refectory Dining Table, Circa 1900
A substantial late 19th century oak refectory dining table, in the Elizabethan/Jacobean Revival style. The planked rectangular top is raised above a deep plain frieze on two substantial turned cup-and-cover supports, each incorporating gadrooned melon carving and standing upon shaped trestle feet, united by a long central stretcher.
Approximately 199cm long × 68.5cm wide.
Displaying historic wear, scratches, scuffs and marks, particularly across the tabletop, giving the table considerable rustic character and patina. Please refer to the photographs for condition.
