Lot 499: An Assortment of Decorative Objects and Household Items including Shelley Ceramics and a Mackinlay's Advertising Jar
A mixed collection comprising ceramic wares, woodenware, and personal accessories. The lot includes a cream-coloured ceramic advertising jar for Mackinlay’s Finest Old Scotch Whisky, featuring a transfer-printed bagpiper illustration and text identifying the blend by the Mackinlay family. Ceramic components include Shelley pieces, notably white saucers bearing the green shield backstamp and handwritten red pattern number 12845, accompanied by a light green glazed jug. The woodenware section contains multiple salt and pepper mills of various turned designs, one featuring a silver-tone cap marked with the letter P. Also present is a burgundy Nauticalia presentation box with a gilt-stamped ship emblem, and two vintage-style parasols, one designed in pink with white polka dots and the other in white with black lace trim. Further items include a blue floral-decorated ceramic vase and matching hexagonal ginger jar, an onyx-style goblet, various small glassware, and a dark glass bottle for Moët and Chandon Première Cuvée.
