Lot 975: A Trio of Woven Wicker Baskets of Various Forms
A trio of woven wicker baskets constructed from natural fibres in varying shades of tan and dark brown. The collection includes a large, tapered cylindrical basket featuring wide, flat horizontal weavers, alongside a rectangular storage basket with twin light-wood handles bound with twine. The rectangular basket contains a smaller square-form dark brown woven insert. All items exhibit traditional woven construction. A white paper tag bearing the handwritten characters 526 is attached to the handle of the rectangular basket. No maker’s marks or signatures are present.
