Lot 1012: J.R., 'Bluebell Woods' (Signed)
An original landscape painting executed in pastel or mixed media on paper, depicting a woodland scene with a dense carpet of bluebells beneath a verdant canopy. The work is rendered in an impressionistic style, with slender tree trunks in the foreground and soft textures used to suggest light filtering through the foliage. The painting is signed with initials and dated J R 03 in the lower-left corner. A handwritten label attached to the upper-left of the mount reads Original art work of Bluebell Woods. The artwork is presented in a cream-coloured mount and a simple silver-toned frame behind glass. Two auction lot stickers are present on the lower-right of the glass, numbered 1012 and 1161.
