Lot 543: Price Bros Ribbed Earthenware Sponge-ware Glaze Jug
A Price Bros earthenware jug featuring a globular body with horizontal ribbing and a single loop handle. The exterior is finished with a mottled sponge-ware style glaze in tones of amber, yellow, and cream. The base bears the impressed marks MADE IN ENGLAND and STONE. Centrally, it bears a stamped mark with the text PRICE BROS enclosed within a laurel wreath, accompanied by a smaller printed MADE IN ENGLAND mark. A white auction lot sticker numbered 543 is present on the side of the body.
