Lot 544: A Collection of Vintage British Ceramics Including Royal Worcester, Sadler, and Maling
This lot comprises an assortment of vintage British ceramics from various manufacturers. Included is a Royal Worcester porcelain covered casserole dish in the Evesham pattern, decorated with transfer-printed images of asparagus bundles, peaches, blackberries, and olives, featuring gilt-finished lug handles. A Sadler earthenware novelty teapot titled A Round of Golf features a house-shaped body decorated with golfing scenes and a lid fashioned as a roof with a central clock tower finial. The collection also contains a Maling lustre-glazed tennis set consisting of a cup and a palette-shaped saucer, both finished with a textured yellow iridescent glaze and gilt rims. A Paragon bone china teacup and saucer set is decorated with pink rose garlands and gilt accents. Also included is a group of green-glazed earthenware items comprising a teacup, two saucers or small plates, a cream jug, and a sugar bowl, all featuring a white and dark green floral transfer pattern. No base marks are visible in the provided images, though a handwritten note provides attributions for the primary makers.
