Lot 554: An Assortment of Silver-Plated Tableware and Bone China Teawares
An assortment of silver-plated and ceramic tableware and flatware. The collection includes a three-tier folding cake stand with reticulated trays and a central carrying handle. The ceramic pieces consist of bone china teacups and saucers decorated with white floral transfers and gilded rims. A boxed three-piece serving set features shell-shaped bowls and engraved handles, accompanied by a handwritten card reading: With all good wishes / for your birthday / from / Rev. & Mrs. J. Bishop / & Joan with a printed address of 53, Buckingham Road, / Aylesbury. The flatware includes several knives and forks with carved mother-of-pearl handles and engraved metal blades and tines. A cased set of teaspoons in a blue silk-lined presentation box is also included.
