Lot 1030: A Large Contemporary Two-Piece Solid Pine Wall Storage Unit
A large contemporary two-piece wall storage unit or dresser constructed from solid pine in a modern country style. The piece features a clear varnished finish that highlights the natural grain and knots of the timber. The upper section is configured with three open shelving compartments to the left and centre, and a vertical bank of four drawers to the right. The lower section includes two large cupboard doors to the left with decoratively shaped panels and surface-mounted metal hinges, a central recessed open display area, and a unit to the right consisting of two drawers over a single cupboard. The piece is fitted throughout with turned wooden drawer pulls and cupboard knobs. A light blue and white auction lot label with the printed number 1030 is affixed to the front rail, and a small pink circular sticker with the handwritten number 8 is attached to the side of the base section.
