Lot 642: A Set of Cased Silver-Plated Flatware including a Fish Service and Dessert Forks
A collection of silver-plated flatware contained within two period presentation cases. The first set comprises six silver-plated dessert forks featuring rounded handles, housed in a black leatherette case with a white satin and black velvet interior. Marks are present on the reverse of the handles but are not clearly legible. The second set is a silver-plated fish service for six, consisting of six knives and six forks. The blades and tines feature engraved foliate scrollwork decoration and are fitted with cream-coloured handles. This service is contained within a brown patterned faux-tortoiseshell presentation case with a gold-toned satin and velvet lining. Marks are present on the knife blades near the bolster but are not clearly legible.
