Lot 655: An Upcycled Gratien and Meyer Saumur Wine Tin Table Lamp
This table lamp is constructed from a repurposed cylindrical metal tin for Gratien and Meyer Saumur wine. The base features a decorative label with text in French and English detailing the history of the winery, established in 1864, and identifies the contents as Cuvee Flamme Brut. The tin is topped with a brass finished neck and a cream coloured fabric tapered drum shade. The lamp is fitted with a black power cord, an in-line rocker switch, and a UK three pin plug. The tin base includes the branding Gratien and Meyer, A Family Commitment Since 1864, and Saumur France.
