Lot 701: A Collection of Decorative Ceramics and Glassware including Aynsley Little Sweetheart and Wedgwood Jasperware
This lot comprises a collection of decorative ceramics, glass, and household items. The group includes Aynsley fine bone china in the Little Sweetheart pattern, consisting of a set of eight ceramic napkin rings and a heart-shaped lidded trinket box on a matching circular saucer. These pieces are decorated with transfer-printed floral sprays of bluebells and pink roses. The napkin rings bear the green Aynsley backstamp: EST. 1775, AYNSLEY, MADE IN ENGLAND, FINE ENGLISH BONE CHINA, Little Sweetheart.
The collection features two Wedgwood sage green Jasperware pin dishes or ashtrays. These pieces are decorated with white sprigged relief depicting central classical figures, including a figure with a lyre, surrounded by grapevine borders.
Also included is a pair of ceramic candlesticks with cream grounds decorated with hand-painted or transfer floral motifs in pink and blue with gilt-lined rims and bases. A small circular ceramic jar with a fitted lid is decorated with an autumnal-toned floral and berry pattern. A small bone china pin dish displays a central multi-coloured floral bouquet and a gilt rim.
The miscellaneous items include a triangular-shaped blue and clear glass decorative paperweight, one box of ten white tea lights, and two retail packs of cream Church Taper candles with gold star decoration.
