Lot 704: A Collection of Mid-Century Studio Pottery and a Brass Receipt Spike
A collection of decorative objects comprising two ceramic owl-shaped salt and pepper shakers, a stoneware bowl, and a brass receipt spike. The owl shakers are constructed from speckled stoneware with hand-painted facial details, featuring two-hole and three-hole dispensers and fitted with clear plastic base stoppers. One shaker retains a small paper label handwritten with 7/6 set. The stoneware bowl features a flared rim, a spiral-thrown interior, and a series of leaf-shaped cutouts to the body, finished in a tonal tan and brown glaze. The brass receipt spike is designed with a weighted, tiered circular base and a vertical metal pin.
