Lot 710: An Assortment of Antique Agricultural and Utilitarian Components
An assortment of vintage items comprising curved wooden stilts from a horse-drawn plough and a large metal pan. The plough stilts are reinforced with iron strapping and heavy bolts, showing a greyish-brown patina with visible splitting and weathering to the timber. The circular, domed metal pan is finished in a dull brass tone with surface pitting and oxidisation, attached to a heavy-gauge iron chain. All components exhibit wear and surface rust consistent with historical agricultural and industrial use. A small adhesive label with the number 710 is attached to the display base.
