Lot 816: An Art Deco Walnut Demi-Lune Glazed Display Cabinet, circa 1930s
An Art Deco one-piece display cabinet constructed with walnut and figured burr walnut veneers. The demi-lune form features a central curved glazed door with a geometric wooden glazing bar design, comprising a central vertical elongated oval intersected by four horizontal bars. The central door is flanked by two fixed, curved side glass panels. The interior is fitted with three removable glass display shelves. The cabinet stands on short, shaped bracket feet. A single lock and circular metal escutcheon are present on the door frame.
