Lot 818: A Mid-20th Century Bentwood Beech Armchair
A mid-20th-century armchair constructed from stained beech using bentwood techniques. The chair features steam-bent arms that curve downwards to form the front legs. The backrest is composed of two horizontal slats set between square-profile uprights. The seat consists of a fixed pad upholstered in a brown ribbed or corduroy-style fabric. The chair is presented with a non-matching scatter cushion decorated with a damask pattern and multicoloured horizontal stripes in shades of pink, orange, and cream. A small white identification sticker with the printed characters 818 is located on the top of the left arm.
