Lot 820: A Pair of Modern Pine and Painted Three-Drawer Bedside Chests
A pair of contemporary bedside chests of drawers constructed from solid pine. Each chest features a natural pine top and side panels with a honey-coloured finish, displaying visible grain and knots. The front of each unit comprises three drawers finished in a uniform light grey paint. The drawers are each fitted with two turned wooden pine knobs that match the finish of the tops. The chests are supported by a plinth base with turned bun feet. Two small adhesive inventory labels are present on the side of one chest, though the text is not legible. The construction appears to be solid pine throughout the carcass.
