A vintage Matchbox Models of Yesteryear 1934 Riley MPH No. Y-3 die-cast model car in its original box. The vehicle is constructed with a die-cast metal body finished in a metallic dark red paintwork, featuring a cream-coloured plastic two-seat interior and silver-tone plastic steering wheel and windscreen frame. The front of the model displays detailed chrome-effect engine components and a radiator grille, supported by black plastic tyres on chrome-effect wire-spoke wheels. The chassis is embossed with manufacturer marks reading MATCHBOX, MODELS OF YESTERYEAR NO Y-3, 1934 RILEY M.P.H., LESNEY PRODUCTS & CO LTD, and MADE IN ENGLAND, along with a copyright date of © 1973. The car is housed in its original red and gold window display box, which carries an adhesive white sticker on the front window reading HCP Auctions South West Lot 143.
