Lot 175: A Vintage Oxford Diecast Prince William Commemorative Model Van
A vintage Oxford Diecast Prince William commemorative model van, produced in 2003 to celebrate the 21st birthday of the Prince. The vehicle is constructed from die-cast metal with plastic components and is based on a vintage-style delivery van design. The body is finished in navy blue with a black roof and mudguards, featuring gold-tone script to the sides that reads Prince William 21st Birthday 2003 alongside an illustrated graphic of a royal residence. The model features free-rolling spoked wheels and a black plastic chassis. The underside of the vehicle features an embossed oval mark reading Oxford Diecast with VINTAGE MODEL below it. The lot is complete with its original blue and white pictorial card box and a cream-coloured plastic internal tray. It is accompanied by an Oxford Diecast limited edition certificate of authenticity, which is printed with Prince William 21 Years – 2003 and Model ROY003. The certificate is individually numbered as Nº 3404 of 7,500.
