A vintage Matchbox Models of Yesteryear 1936 Jaguar SS 100 die-cast model car. The vehicle is constructed with a die-cast metal body finished in metallic teal blue paintwork. The interior features black plastic bucket seats and a steering wheel, complemented by a black plastic spare tyre cover at the rear. Significant detailing includes chrome-finished components such as the front radiator, large headlamps, and the windscreen frame. The model sits on spoked wheels fitted with white-wall tyres. The teal-coloured base is embossed with the characters MATCHBOX, MODELS OF YESTERYEAR NO Y-1, 1936 SS. 100 JAGUAR, LESNEY PROD & CO LTD, © 1977, and MADE IN ENGLAND. The car is presented in its original gold-toned cardboard window box, which is printed with models of yesteryear, MATCHBOX, Y-1, and 1936 JAGUAR SS 100.
