Lot 243: A Vintage Road Champs St. Louis Fire Department Rescue Vehicle
A vintage Road Champs St. Louis Fire Department rescue vehicle, manufactured from die-cast metal and plastic components. This 1:43 scale (approximate) model is finished in a vibrant red livery representing a Rescue 2 Squad unit. The cab and body are constructed from die-cast metal, while the chassis, wheels, and roof-mounted adjustable light tower are composed of moulded plastic. The exterior features printed graphics including the text ‘ST. LOUIS FIRE DEPARTMENT’ on the side panels and ‘RESCUE 2 SQUAD’ on the cab doors and front header, accompanied by the department’s crest. Chrome-effect plastic detailing is present on the front grille and light tower. The underside is embossed with a logo reading ‘ROAD CHAMPS’ in a shield, followed by the text ‘© 1994 ROAD CHAMPS INC’, ‘WEST CALDWELL NJ 07006’, and ‘MADE IN CHINA’.
