Lot 2: A Pair of Vintage Wooden Rowing Oars
A pair of vintage wooden rowing oars, featuring carved shafts and rounded blades. The oars are constructed from solid wood, showing a distinctive sun-bleached and greyed patina with prominent raised grain consistent with outdoor exposure and maritime use. One oar is fitted with a yellow synthetic collar, while the other features a heavily worn greenish-white sleeve of canvas or leather construction. The blades are secured at the throat with visible screw fixings and taper towards rounded tips. A small white adhesive inventory label is applied to one shaft, printed with the digits 0 0 2.
