Lot 26: A Vintage Stainless Steel Hand Wash Basin
A vintage stainless steel hand wash basin of compact square-profile form, typical of commercial sanitation fixtures. The unit features a circular inset bowl integrated into a brushed stainless steel top. A rear upstand flange incorporates two pre-drilled tap holes, and there is a central circular aperture for a waste outlet. The underside of the bowl is tapered. A white rectangular adhesive label is present on the front right corner, marked with the handwritten numerals 5677 in purple ink. There are no readable manufacturer’s marks or model numbers stamped into the metal surfaces. The reverse and side mounting edges are heavily encrusted with salvaged building materials, including sections of ceramic tile and fragments of plasterboard, indicating removal from a wall-mounted installation.
