Lot 105: A Vintage Reconstituted Stone Garden Trough and Large Terracotta Planter
A vintage reconstituted stone garden trough and large terracotta planter, both exhibiting significant outdoor weathering. The rectangular stone trough is constructed from weathered concrete or reconstituted stone with a coarse, pitted texture and thick walls. It features vertical moulded ribbing to one end and is heavily encrusted with yellow lichen and moss growth. The lot includes three loose granite-style cobbles currently housed within the trough. The large circular terracotta planter is designed in a classic Mediterranean style with a moulded Greek key decorative border encircling the upper rim. It displays characteristic white salt efflorescence and mineral deposits across the exterior surface. A secondary grey plastic nursery pot is nested within. A white adhesive auction label reading Lot 105 HCP Auctions South West is applied to the rim of the stone trough.
