Lot 212: A Vintage Seca Modell 713 Metal Medical Column Scale
A vintage Seca Modell 713 metal medical column scale of professional clinical design. The instrument features a dual-beam mechanical weighing system equipped with two black sliding poise weights. The upper beam is graduated from 0 to 10 kg in 0.2 kg increments, while the lower beam is graduated from 0 to 120 kg in 10 kg increments. The weighing head and central column are finished in a silver-toned coating, mounted upon a heavy-duty rectangular metal base platform fitted with a black textured anti-slip rubberised mat. The head housing is clearly inscribed with technical specifications reading Modell 713, Max 130 kg, Min 2 kg, d=e=0,2kg, and the serial number Fabr.Nr. 886308. A red seca logo is printed on the column, which also bears a circular adhesive service label for Bristol Scale Service Co. A red balance indicator is visible through a circular aperture at the end of the weighing beam.
