Lot 231: A Vintage Plastic External Aquarium Canister Filter
A vintage plastic external aquarium canister filter of multi-stage design. The unit features a cream-coloured cylindrical plastic body with a large grey U-shaped primer handle integrated into the lid. The head assembly includes an internal UV-C steriliser bulb housed within a glass sleeve and two hose connector ports. The top is secured to the canister base via a four-latch locking mechanism. A white square adhesive label is applied to the top casing with the handwritten digits 8361 in black ink. A second white printed adhesive label is attached reading HCP Auctions South West, Lot 231, www.hcpauctions.net. The interior contains used filter media consisting of a coarse blue foam pad and a mesh bag filled with ceramic filter rings. The appliance is fitted with a standard white UK three-pin power plug.
